Chateau on the Ridge is Northeast Arkansas and the surrounding region’s newest comprehensive retirement community. Nestled on 53 scenic acres in Paragould, our campus offers a peaceful yet vibrant setting for assisted senior living. Founded on values of service, dignity, and faith, we provide a place where residents truly feel at home.

We are committed to providing a safe, enriching environment where senior adults in Paragould and the surrounding areas can thrive. Our mission is to support independence while meeting daily living needs—allowing each resident to live fully, with purpose and joy. We exist to be a beacon of health, hope, and healing, helping residents maintain self-sufficiency and quality of life.
Our History
Chateau on the Ridge began as a vision of Arkansas Methodist Medical Center and The Foundation at AMMC in 2007. Recognizing the region’s need for high-quality senior housing, a Retirement Community Board of Directors was formed, comprised of respected local leaders. In 2008, the board traveled the country to study best practices and ensure Chateau would become one of the finest independent senior living communities in Northeast Arkansas. That vision became reality with the groundbreaking on August 27, 2010. We officially opened our doors to our first residents on November 15, 2011.
Rooted in Medical Excellence
Chateau on the Ridge is part of the AMMC family—an organization with over a century of service to the community. From its beginnings as Dickson Memorial Hospital in 1907 to today’s Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, AMMC has grown through innovation, expansion, and a commitment to care. Chateau continues that legacy through its thoughtful approach to senior living.
